Bro I got out of installing solar because every company was so corrupt because of this mindset. I was making 100k+ a year installing systems but so many of the jobs were sold to elderly people with 30 year old roofs and outdated panels that have to be swapped just for the 75k system to be installed, just for the roof to leak in 5 years and the system has to be un-installed and reinstalled after the roof is repaired. Solar in the south is so disgustingly money hungry and corrupt it's so sad because it could be done right and there's plenty of money to be made the right way.
